[origin: EP0552607A1] Hinge cup, consisting of an anchoring part (34) insertable into a door and of a cup part (3) which is held on the anchoring part (4) and which carries at least one hinge pin. The anchoring part (4) is provided with two clamping jaws (7, 8). The cup part (3) is inseparably mounted in the anchoring part (4) so as to be rotatable about the axis of the mounting bore. It carries two spreading parts (21) which press the clamping jaws (7, 8) of the anchoring part (4) against the wall of the mounting bore. The anchoring part (4) is provided with a plate (15) which projects in the mounting plane and which has positioning studs (9, 10). Between the cup part (3) and the anchoring part (4) is provided at least one retaining device which fixes the position of the cup part (3) in the clamping position. <IMAGE>
