Abstract (en)

An exhaust hood is to be designed in such a manner that it can be moved easily above the cooking range, above which it is to be arranged, and also has a simple movement mechanism. The simple and articulation-free construction of the exhaust hood according to the invention makes possible, on vertical lowering of the vapour collecting screen (5) which is mounted movably in a diagonally designed guide (9), a simultaneous movement in the horizontal plane towards the user and back. A space-saving and aesthetically pleasing integration of the movable system into the upper cabinet (1) can be achieved. A control connected to the blower allows, depending upon the position of the front vapour collecting screen, the ratio of the suction capacity of the front to the rear screen to change. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Eine Dunstabzugshaube soll so ausgebildet werden, daß sie leicht über dem Kochfeld, über welchem sie angeordnet sein soll, bewegt werden kann und zudem einen einfachen Bewegungsmechanismus besitzt. Der erfindungsgemäß einfache und gelenkfreie Aufbau der Dunstabzugsvorrichtung ermöglicht bei vertikaler Absenkung des beweglich in einer diagonal ausgestalteten Führung (9) gehalterten Dunstauffangschirmes (5) eine gleichzeitige Bewegung in horizontaler Ebene zur Bedienperson hin und zurück. Es ist eine platzsparende und ästhetisch gefällige Integration des beweglichen Systems in den Oberschrank (1) erreichbar. Eine mit dem Gebläse verbundene Steuerung gestattet in Abhängigkeit von der Stellung des vorderen Dunstauffangschirmes das Verhältnis der Saugleistung des vorderen zum hinteren Schirm zu verändern. <IMAGE>
