[origin: EP0552721A1] Top-hinged sash window with a scissor-type fitting (10) for fastening to a façade profile, the top-hinged sash window being fastened to a movable pivoting arm (8) of the fitting (10), and a carrier (1), which forms the stationary region of the fitting (10), being capable of being fixed to the façade profile. The carrier (1) consists of a carrying arm (4) which acts as a mount of the fitting (10) and of an adjusting bracket (5). During window mounting, the carrying arm (4) can be placed on the adjusting bracket (5) in order to secure it in position in its longitudinal direction (3).
