Watertight roof covering device, comprising a bearing element (4) consisting of an assembly of contiguous metal sheets (5), an insulating layer (8) applied against the outer face of the bearing element, and an outer leakproofing covering (10) arranged against the insulating layer, as well as mechanical connection means (11) bearing on the outer covering and passing through the insulating layer and, if appropriate, the opposite sheet. <??>According to the invention, the contiguous sheets (5) of the said bearing element (4) comprise edges (18, 19) which are mutually superimposed in a marginal covering zone, these sheets comprising, at least in these edges, ribs (20, 21) whose heights are different, respectively, in the edge of a first sheet and in the adjacent edge of a second sheet covered by the first one, in such a way as to delimit between these ribs a closed seat (22) in which the end part (13, 24) of the connection means extends. <IMAGE>

Dispositif de couverture étanche pour toiture, comportant un élément porteur (4) constitué d'un ensemble de tôles métalliques contiguës (5), une couche isolante (8) appliquée contre la face externe de l'élément porteur, et un revêtement extérieur d'étanchéité (10), disposé contre la couche isolante, ainsi que des moyens de liaison mécaniques (11) prenant appui sur le revêtement extérieur et traversant la couche isolante et le cas échéant la tôle en regard. Selon l'invention, les tôles contiguës (5) dudit élément porteur (4) comportent des bords (18, 19) qui se superposent mutuellement de l'une à l'autre dans une zone de recouvrement marginale, ces tôles comportant au moins dans ces bords des nervures (20, 21) dont les hauteurs sont différentes, respectivement dans le bord d'une première tôle et dans le bord adjacent d'une seconde tôle recouverte par la première, de manière à délimiter entre ces nervures un logement fermé (22) dans lequel s'étend la partie terminale (13, 24) des moyens de liaison. <IMAGE>
