Abstract (en)
In order to reduce the noise emissions of V-type reciprocating-piston machines, in particular internal combustion engines, with transverse screws (8) between the engine block (1) and the main bearing caps (6) fastened to the engine block (1) by vertical main-bearing bolts (7) in the region of a skirt (9) of the engine block (1) for the lateral support of the main bearing caps (6), the engine block (1) has, in the region of the main bearings (3), extensions (11) of the main bearing wall on both sides of the longitudinal plane (16) extending in the direction of the engine vertical axis (Z), said extensions being formed within the skirt in the direction of the oil sump. The main bearing caps (6) are attached between these extensions and the transverse screws (8) seated in the main bearing caps (6) pass through them. In this arrangement, the skirt (9) is arranged at a distance from the extensions (11) of the main bearing wall which serves for the formation of the clearance (12) between the transverse screws (8) and the inside (9') of the skirt (9). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Um die Schallemissionen bei Hubkolbenmaschinen insbesondere Brennkraftmaschinen mit V-förmiger Anordnung der Zylinder oder Zylinderreihen, mit Querschrauben (8) zwischen Motorblock (1) und den mit Hauptlagerhochschrauben (7) am Motorblock (1) befestigten Hauptlagerbügeln (6) im Bereich einer Schürze (9) des Motorblocks (1) zur seitlichen Abstützung der Hauptlagerbügel (6), zu vermindern, weist der Motorblock (1) im Bereich der Hauptlager (3) zu beiden Seiten der in Richtung Motorhochachse (Z) weisenden Längsebene (16) innerhalb der Schürze in Richtung der Ölwanne ausgebildete gelegene Verlängerungen (11) der Hauptlagerwand auf, zwischen welchen die Hauptlagerbügel (6) angebracht sind und die von den in den Hauptlagerbügeln (6) sitzenden Querschrauben (8) durchsetzt sind. Die Schürze (9) ist dabei in einem zur Bildung der Freistellung (12) zwischen den Querschrauben (8) und der Innenseite (9') der Schürze (9) dienendem Abstand von den Verlängerungen (11) der Hauptlagerwand angeordnet. <IMAGE>
