Dispersing device with a hollow body (1) which is rotatable about its longitudinal axis, whose external perimeter, in transverse section to the longitudinal axis, is a polygon preferably having from 5 to 7 sides, which is closed at one end and at the other end has an inlet port which extends over the entire internal cross-section of the hollow body and which is provided with at least one outlet port (4) in the half adjoining the closed end in at least one of the lateral faces (3). The device is used to dissolve or disperse solid, paste-like or liquid substances in a liquid or paste-like medium, especially for the manufacture of emulsion paints. <IMAGE>

Dispergiervorrichtung mit einem um seine Längsachse drehbaren Hohlkörper (1), dessen äußerer Umfang im Schnitt quer zur Längsachse ein Mehreck mit vorzugsweise 5 bis 7 Seiten ist, der an einem Ende geschlossen ist und am anderen Ende eine Eintrittsöffnung aufweist, die sich über den gesamten inneren Querschnitt des Hohlkörpers erstreckt und der mit mindestens einer Austrittsöffnung (4) in der an das geschlossene Ende angrenzenden Hälfte in mindestens einer der Seitenflächen (3) versehen ist. Die Vorrichtung dient zum Lösen oder Dispergieren von festen, pastösen oder flüssigen Stoffen in einem flüssigen oder pastösen Medium, insbesondere zur Herstellung von Dispersionsfarben. <IMAGE>
