Abstract (en)
A fuel injector for internal combustion engines has a nozzle body (1) with spray holes (10) opening into the combustion space. In order to keep the shape of the jet shaped by the spray holes constant over the entire operating time of the injector, the edge (15) at the outlet of the spray holes is rounded, the radius of the rounding is preferably in a range of from 0.03 to 0.06 mm. The rounding is produced by pumping an abrasive suspension through the spray holes from the outside inwards. <IMAGE>

Eine Kraftstoffeinspritzdüse für Brennkraftmaschinen hat einen Düsenkörper (1) mit in den Brennraum mündenden Spritzlöchern (10). Um die von den Spritzlöchern geformte Strahlform über die gesamte Laufzeit der Einspritzdüse konstant zu halten, ist die Kante (15) am Auslauf der Spritzlöcher gerundet. Der Rundungsradius liegt vorzugsweise im Bereich von 0,03 bis 0,06 mm. Hergestellt wird die Rundung durch Pumpen einer Schleifmittelsuspension durch die Spritzlöcher von außen nach innen. <IMAGE>
