A small autonomous radio timepiece (11) with an analog display, in particular a radio travel clock or radio wristwatch, is to be fitted with handling and signalling means with the aid of which it is possible to realise functional operation which is as unambiguous and comprehensible as possible and versatile in the process, as well as the transfer of information without a large overall volume. For this purpose, a multiple switching device (19) having momentary contact switches (Ti) is realised, by which the contents of a time zone addition register (44) can be interrogated, or varied by time zone units with the aid of a momentary contact switch (T2) which can be operated in a time-coded manner, or can be transferred to the analog display (13). A separate momentary contact switch (T3) is used to return the time display to that time zone for which the time transmitter is being operated to which the receiver (31) is currently tuned, without in the process changing the contents of the time zone addition register (44), with the result that the operational sequence T3-T2 produces an analog dual time display. A momentary contact switch (T1) which can equally be operated in a time-coded manner can be used to interrogate whether the receiver turn on (1) in the recent past lead to the decoding of a usable item (37) of time information, and it is possible to initiate a transmitter call in conjunction with internal updating of the autonomous time measurement, with acceptance of the internally updated time if it has not been possible within a prescribed receiver switch-on time interval to demodulate and decode a usable item (37) of time information. An operation of the keys which initiates a restart accompanied by register reset also causes the timepiece to start outside the receiving area of a time-information transmitter and to operate self-sufficiently with internal time holding after a time register reset. <IMAGE>

Eine kleine autonome analog anzeigende Funkuhr (11), insbesondere Funkreiseuhr oder Funkarmbanduhr, soll mit Handhabungs- und Signalisierungsmitteln ausgestattet werden, die eine möglichst eindeutig-plausible und dabei vielfältige Funktionsbetätigung und Informationsübermittlung ohne großes Einbauvolumen realisieren lassen. Dafür ist eine Mehrfach-Schalteinrichtung (19) mit Tastschaltern (Ti) realisiert, über die der Inhalt eines Zeitzonen-Additionsregisters (44) abgefragt bzw. um Zeitzonen-Einheiten mittels eine zeitcodiert betätigbaren Tastschalters (T2) verändert bzw. an die Analoganzeige (13) übermittelt werden kann. Ein separater Tastschalter (T3) dient der Rückkehr der Zeitanzeige in diejenige Zeitzone, für die der Zeitsender betrieben wird, auf den der Empfänger (31) gerade abgestimmt ist, ohne dabei den Inhalt des Zeitzonen-Additionsregisters (44) zu verändern, so daß die Betätigungsfolge T3 - T2 eine analoge Dualtime-Anzeige erbringt. Über einen ebenfalls zeitcodiert betätigbaren Tastschalter (T1) kann abgefragt werden, ob die jüngst zurückliegende Empfängereinschaltung (I) zur Decodierung einer verwertbaren Zeitinformation (37) führte, und kann ein Senderruf unter interner Fortschreibung der autonomen Zeitmessung ausgelöst werden, mit Übernahme der intern fortgeschriebenen Zeit, wenn innerhalb vorgegebener Empfänger-Einschaltzeitspanne keine verwertbare Zeitinformation (37) demoduliert und decodiert werden konnte. Eine einen Neustart mit Register-Reset auslösende Tasten-Betätigung läßt die Uhr auch außerhalb des Empfangsbereiches eines Zeitinformationssenders starten und nach einem Zeitregister-Reset mit interner Zeithaltung autark betreiben. <IMAGE>
