[origin: EP0554185A1] This storage unit comprises at least one device with a toggle joint (5). When the carrying case (2) is in position on the support (1), actuation of the toggle joint in a first instance locks the lid (7) of the carrying case onto the body (6) of the latter then, in a second instance, locks the carrying case onto the support. When the toggle joint is disengaged, the carrying case is released but its lid remains locked onto its body. Application to tool boxes. <IMAGE>
