[origin: WO9305260A1] The invention concerns a door, in particular a double-wing door, whose door-wings execute, during closing and opening, a combined translational and rotational motion about a vertical axis. The door is fitted with detachable means which enable the door to be used on emergency-exit and escape routes, i.e. when a manual force is applied from the inside on the door-wings, they are disconnected from the drive unit and can easily be opened by hand. So that the door does not remain open, however, the design includes switches or sensors which report any manual opening of the door to the control electronics which in turn sets the drive in operation in order to connect the door-wings automatically with the drive unit again.
