Abstract (en)
A description is given of a process for impregnating or embedding hard, wear-resistant phases in surface layers of metal products made by casting a liquid metal. Said process is intended to improve the adhesion between the wear-resistant layer and the metal. It is proposed that at least one sintered-on layer with at least one formed-on peg or protrusion be formed from hard, wear-resistant phases, and that the layer is fixed on a surface of the mould before casting the metal. <IMAGE>

Es wird ein Verfahren zum Imprägnieren oder Einbetten von harten, verschleißfesten Phasen in Oberflächenschichten von Metallerzeugnissen, die durch Abgießen von flüssigem Metall hergestellt werden, beschrieben, durch das die Haftfähigkeit zwischen der verschleißfesten Schicht und dem Metall verbessert werden soll. Es wird vorgeschlagen, daß aus harten, verschleißfesten Phasen wenigstens eine angesinterte Lage mit wenigstens einem angeformten Pflock oder Vorsprung ausgebildet wird und daß die Lage vor dem Gießen des Metalls auf einer Oberfläche der Gießform angeheftet wird. <IMAGE>
