The invention relates to a method for sand-blasting surfaces, objects or the like to be cleaned and restored, water being fed to a pressurised air/abrasive mixture, upstream of a nozzle, the pressure of which water is greater than the pressure of the air/abrasive mixture. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out this method. In order to provide a method in which, with good efficiency and low water consumption, dust formation is essentially eliminated and silting up of the surfaces to be treated is avoided, the invention provides that the water is fed in the form of at least one grid and/or at least one wall at such a high pressure that the grid and/or the wall remains stable on passage of the air/abrasive mixture. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Sandstrahlen von zu sanierenden Flächen, Gegenständen oder dergleichen, wobei einem druckbeaufschlagten Luft-/Strahlmittelgemisch vor einer Strahldüse Wasser zugeführt wird, dessen Druck größer ist als der Druck des Luft-/Strahlmittelgemisches sowie auf eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung dieses Verfahrens. Zur Schaffung eines Verfahrens, welches bei einem guten Wirkungsgrad und wenig Wasserverbrauch die Staubbildung im wesentlichen unterbindet und ein Verschlämmen der zu behandelnden Flächen vermeidet, ist vorgesehen, daß das Wasser in Form wenigstens eines Gitters oder/und wenigstens einer Wand mit einem derart hohen Druck zugeführt wird, daß das Gitter und/oder die Wand beim Durchtritt des Luft-/Strahlmittelgemisches stabil bleibt. <IMAGE>
