[origin: EP0554693A1] The invention relates to a paper case for documents having two case walls (10, 12) integrally connected to each other at a first fold edge (14') to form a closed lateral edge (14). The case walls (10,12) are additionally connected to each other at at least one further lateral edge (10) or lateral edge section (22) by means of an adhesive tab (16, 18) moulded on to the front case wall. The front case wall can be pivoted open about an oblique pivot line (32) against the open lateral edges (28) or lateral edge sections (30), exposing an insertion aperture. In order to reduce the risk of tearing, the front case wall (10) has a recess (34) adjoining the insertion end of the fold edge (22') of an adhesive tab (18) extending over a closed lateral edge section (22) and open at the edge towards a free lateral edge section (30) of the case wall (10) concerned, the limiting edge of which recess directly adjoins the fold edge (22') and, in its subsequent course, has a concave arcuate section (40) with a vertex tangent (46) parallel to the pivot line (32) and intersecting the fold edge (22') of the adhesive tab (18) at a distance from its insertion end. <IMAGE>
