The invention relates to a shirt, in particular a man's shirt, which has long sleeves, cuffs and an arm slit in the cuff region, one hem (4, 6) of the arm slit (3) bearing a button (5) on its outside and the other hem of the arm slit having a button hole. In order to design a shirt of the generic type described at the beginning such that the arm slit (3) cannot be opened out without the buttoning means being visible, it is intended to form the button hole from a loop (8) arranged on the inside of the allocated hem (4,6). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Hemd, insbesondere Herrenoberhemd, mit langen Ärmeln, Manschetten und einem Armschlitz im Manschettenbereich, wobei ein Randstreifen (4,6) des Armschlitzes (3) außenseitig einen Knopf (5) trägt und der andere Randstreifen des Randschlitzes ein Knopfloch aufweist. Um ein Hemd der eingangs beschriebenen Gattung so zu gestalten, daß ein Aufklappen des Armschlitzes (3) verhindert wird, ohne daß eine Beknöpfung sichtbar ist, soll das Knopfloch von einer innenseitig am zugeordneten Randstreifen (4,6) angeordneten Schlaufe (8) gebildet sein. <IMAGE>
