The properties and the appearance of a jewellery band (12) made of threads (25) of precious metal are intended to be improved by a reinforcement (16, 17). This jewellery band (12) has a tubular band (15) in which a preferably elastic reinforcement (16, 17) is situated. Die Eigenschaften und das Aussehen eines aus Edelmetallfäden (25) hergestellten Schmuckbandes (12) sollen durch eine Armierung (16, 17) verbessert werden. Dieses Schmuckband (12) weist ein schlauchförmiges Band (15) auf, in dem sich eine vorzugsweise elastische Armierung (16, 17) befindet. An beiden Enden eines Schmuckband-Abschnittes ist das Ende der Armierung (16, 17) am Ende des schlauchförmigen Bandes (15) befestigt. <IMAGE>
