Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schutzkappe insbesondere für Schreibgeräte oder Feuerwerkskörper aus einer länglichen, innen hohlen Hülse (1), die einseitig geschlossen sein kann. Erfindungsgemäß besteht die Hülse aus einem biologisch abbaubaren oder verrottbaren Material, beispielsweise aus Papier, Pappe, Karton, Vliesstoff, Pappmache, Zellstoff oder auch aus einem aus Pflanzen gewonnenen Stärkematerial, einem Harnstoffmaterial oder Gelatine <IMAGE>
