[origin: EP0554824A2] In the apparatus for manufacturing a pantyhose from prefabricated tubular individual parts (28, 29), templates (12) are used for drawing on the prefabricated pantyhose parts, in which templates the supporting arms (16/1, 16/2; 17/1, 17/2) are designed immovably relative to one another, but are equipped with drivable endless conveyor belts. By means of the conveyor belts, the pantyhose parts can be guided over any desired length past a cutting member (13/1), and the cut edges formed can be guided outwards via a U-curve (30) of the supporting arms, without excessive expansion of the hosiery fabric, for the subsequent sewing together of cut edges formed. <IMAGE>
