Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0555159A1] - Sandwich heating structure. - The invention relates to a heating structure (1) of the steam iron type, made as a sandwich structure bounded externally by two rigid elements (2, 3), at least one of which forms a heater plate (2), the said elements being able to diffuse the heat produced by a resistive element (4) clad with an electrical insulation (6a, 6b), the said resistive element being integral with the said elements (2, 3) by way of linking means (7a, 7b), characterised in that: - the heater unit is delimited by two electrical insulation cladding sheets (6a, 6b) between which extends a first thermoplastic resin layer (5) into which the resistive element (4) is inserted, the said thermoplastic resin layer adhering to the electrical insulation cladding sheets (6a, 6b) - the linking means (7a, 7b) comprise a second thermoplastic resin layer (7b) extending between the heater plate (2) and the associated electrical insulation cladding sheet (6b) and adhering to the said plate (2) and to the said sheet (6b). - Domestic electrical appliance (Figure 2) <IMAGE>
