[origin: EP0555164A1] The device according to the invention comprises a variable-volume wax reservoir (17) containing a quantity of wax which is protected from the air. Pusher means expel the wax outside the reservoir and introduce it into a wax-supply pipe (18) as far as a spraying nozzle (16) which projects it onto the running sole of the skis (5) to be waxed. The spraying assembly is mounted on a carriage (11) which can move vertically on guide means (12) in order to sweep the surface of the ski. The carriage (11) also carries a rotary brush (19) for drying the surface to be waxed before waxing and for polishing the same surface after waxing. <IMAGE>
