According to a feature of the invention, the battery is comprised of means (38, 40) which, during a storage period of the battery, maintain the electrodes (E+, E-) outside the cells (C1-C14), and on the other hand place said electrodes in the cells to prime the battery.

Suivant une caractéristique de l'invention, la pile comporte des moyens (38, 40) pour, durant une période de stockage de la pile, maintenir les électrodes (E+, E-) à l'extérieur des cellules (C1 à C14), et d'autre part pour placer ces électrodes dans les cellules pour amorcer la pile.
