Abstract (en)
A vocal reporting device for pointer type timers comprising a printed circuit board (5) which converts the positions of the pointers into electric signals and sends the same to a microprocessor (24) to broadcast the time associated therewith with a voice synthesizing circuit (25) and a speaker (26). A photoelectric calibration device (29,30) detects the positions of the pointers and then calibrate the microprocessor with the detected pointer positions. <IMAGE>
