The invention relates to an exhaust hood for use above a cooking point, dust or mist source, with a suction blower, a filter arrangement, air guides and a horizontal wall-blowing jet (26) which is directed from the front lower hood edge towards the sucking-off surface or the filter and sucks in the mist flow and takes it to the sucking-in surface. The invention is characterised in that an additional blower is provided for generating the wall-blowing jet (26) and in that a helical flow (28) is generated on the underside of the hood in the region of the blow-out nozzle. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Dunstabzugshaube für den Einsatz über einer Kochstelle, Staub- oder Dunstquelle, mit einem Ansauggebläse, einer Filteranordnung, Luftführungen und einem vom vorderen unteren Haubenrand zur Absaugfläche bzw. zum Filter hin gerichteten und den Dunststrom ansaugenden und zur Ansaugfläche mitreißenden horizontalen Wandblasstrahl (26). Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß ein zusätzliches Gebläse zur Erzeugung des Wandblasstrahles (26) vorgesehen ist, und daß an der Haubenunterseite im Bereich der Ausblasdüse eine schraubenwendelförmige (helikale) Strömung (28) erzeugt wird. <IMAGE>
