Abstract (en)
This installation is of the type comprising an endless cable, support and compression pulleys, two guide pulleys and cars suspended on the cable by means of grippers (10) and suspenders offset laterally on the opposite side to the pylons. At the location of each deflection of the cable on the side of the body (10a) of the grippers (10) are provided means (11) for supporting and guiding the cable (2), which consist of a pulley (12) of axis (13), the groove (14) of which has, over an angular sector (15) at least equal to the deflection angle (16), freely rotating rollers (17) and a radial notch (19) capable of accommodating a body (10a) of a gripper (10), means being provided for wedging the pulley (12) in its angular position, in which the cable (2) is guided solely by the rollers (17), and other means being provided for releasing it and driving it in rotation when the distance (L) separating a suspender (7) of the first (17a) of these rollers (17) is equal to the length of the circle arc (22) separating this first roller (17a) from the notch (19). <IMAGE>

Cette installation est du type comportant un câble sans fin, des poulies de support et de compression, deux poulies de renvoi et des nacelles suspendues au câble au moyen de pinces (10) et de suspentes déportées latéralement du côté opposé aux pylônes. A l'emplacement de chaque déviation du câble du côté des corps (10a) des pinces (10) , sont prévus des moyens (11) de soutien et de guidage du câble (2) constitués par une poulie (12) d'axe (13) dont la gorge (14) présente, sur un secteur angulaire (15) au moins égal à l'angle de déviation (16), des galets (17) libres en rotation et une encoche radiale (19) apte à loger un corps (10a) de pince (10), des moyens étant prévus pour caler la poulie (12) dans sa position angulaire dans laquelle le câble (2) est guidé exclusivement par les galets (17) et d'autres moyens étant prévus pour la libérer et l'entraîner en rotation lorsque la distance (L) séparant une suspente (7) du premier (17a) de ces galets (17) est égale à la longueur de l'arc de cercle (22) séparant ce premier galet (17a) de l'encoche (19). <IMAGE>
