Abstract (en)
A silver halide color photosensitive material which forms a cyan dye that has superior heat resistance and that will not readily fade in a reducing atmosphere. The silver halide color photosensitive material contains in at least one layer on a support at least one coupler represented by formula (I): <CHEM> wherein R<1> represents hydrogen atom or a substituent; R<2> represents a substituent; X represents hydrogen atom or a group releasable on a coupling reaction with an oxidation product of a color developing agent; Z<1> represents a nonmetallic atom group necessary for forming a nitrogen-containing, six-membered, heterocyclic ring which has at least one dissociative group: Z<1> cannot be -C(=O)-N(R)-C(=O)-NH-; and R represents a substituent.
