The invention relates to a device for making flaked ice by means of an evaporator in the form of a refrigeration drum (1) which has, running around along the surface of the refrigeration-drum body (4), a duct for guiding refrigerant. The duct (5) is in this case designed in such a manner that it runs in the form of spaced turns to the opposite end of the drum (4) and subsequently, after a corresponding deflection, is guided back between the first turns in the form of second turns in the opposite direction. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung von Scherbeneis mittels eines Verdampfers in Form einer Kältetrommel (1), welche einen entlang der Oberfläche des Kältetrommelkörpers (4) umlaufenden Kanal zur Führung von Kältemittel aufweist. Der Kanal (5) ist dabei derart ausgebildet, daß er in Form von beabstandeten Windungen zum gegenüberliegenden Ende der Trommel (4) verläuft und anschließend nach einer entsprechenden Umlenkung zwischen den ersten Windungen in Form von gegenläufigen zweiten Windungen zurückgeführt wird. <IMAGE>
