In a printer for processing multiple types of paper, for example single sheets, webs, forms and the like, there are at least one pair of driven feed tractors (2a, 2b), arranged on a printer frame (1a, 1b) as well as two pairs of friction rollers (4, 5) and a paper guide channel (8) for single sheets. The single sheets (9) and the webs (10) can be fed as far as between the first pair of friction rollers (4), a platen (6) being arranged after a first pair of friction rollers (4a, 4b) in the feed direction (43). In order to achieve proper, corrugation-free paper feeding and precise feed lengths in conjunction with automatic control of the paper feeding both for single sheets (9) and for webs (10), it is proposed that, at least on one pair of friction rollers (4; 5), a carrier (27) having a plurality of counter-friction rollers (4b; 5b) is radially displaceable relative to the respective friction rollers (4a; 5a) to a gap distance (26) of about 1 to 8 mm, that furthermore the respective adjustable carrier (27) is arranged displaceably on a control member (24, 25) which interacts with a control cam (22, 23), that each control cam (22, 23) is connected to a driving means (29), and that all the driving means (29) can be driven via a common drive motor (12). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei einem Drucker für die Verarbeitung von unterschiedlichen Papierarten, wie z.B. Einzelblätter, Endlosbahnen, Formulare u.dgl., sind zumindest ein an einem Druckerrahmen (1a,1b) angeordnetes angetriebenes Schubtraktorpaar (2a,2b) sowie zwei Friktionsrollenpaare (4,5) vorhanden und für Einzelblätter ein Papierführungskanal (8). Die Einzelblätter (9) bzw. die Endlosbahnen (10) sind bis zwischen das erste Friktionsrollenpaar (4) vorschiebbar, wobei ein Druckwiderlager (6) in Vorschubrichtung (43) hinter einem ersten Friktionsrollenpaar (4a,4b) angeordnet ist. Um in Verbindung mit einer automatischen Steuerung der Papierzufuhr sowohl für Einzelblätter (9) als auch für Endlosbahnen (10) eine ordnungsgemäße, wellenfreie Papierzufuhr und genaue Vorschublängen zu erreichen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß zumindest an einem Friktionsrollenpaar (4;5) ein Träger (27) mit mehreren Gegenfriktionsrollen (4b;5b) radial zu den jeweiligen Friktionsrollen (4a;5a) auf einen Spaltabstand (26) von ca. 1 bis 8 mm einstellbar ist, daß ferner der jeweils verstellbare Träger (27) auf einem Steuerglied (24,25) verschieblich angeordnet ist, das mit einer Steuerkurve (22,23) zusammenwirkt, daß jede Steuerkurve (22,23) an ein Antriebsmittel (29) angeschlossen ist und daß alle Antriebsmittel (29) über einen gemeinsamen Antriebsmotor (12) antreibbar sind. <IMAGE>
