[origin: EP0557200A1] The invention relates to the sector of methods for neutralising a threat by the release of a neutralising substance forming a screen between the threat and a zone to be protected. According to the invention, a neutralising substance capable of adhering to the threat is transmitted to the latter. The invention also relates to the sector of pyrotechnic heads, its subject being more particularly a pyrotechnic head (300) of the type comprising a casing (310, 320), a neutralising substance contained in the casing and dispersal means for bringing the neutralising substance into contact with a threat, in which pyrotechnic head the neutralising substance comprises a smoke-generating gel (G) designed to ahdere to the threat. <IMAGE>
