[origin: EP0557716A1] The supporting device for rails (1) of a track installation for rail vehicles with bearing plate (3) and bearing bed (6) has a profiling which has a number of flanks (4a, 7a, 5a, 8a) with different angles, the flanks (4a, 7a, 5a, 8a) running in the longitudinal direction of the track installation. Arranged between the flanks (4a, 7a, 5a, 8a) of bearing plate (3) and bearing bed (6) are elastic elements (9a, 9b, 9c, 9d) which, when loading (PH, PV) arises, make possible a pivoting process of the bearing plate (3) in relation to the bearing bed (6). In this case, the bearing plate (3) leans towards the centre of the track installation. The rail head (1d) of the rail (1) fastened on the bearing plate (3) is likewise essentially vertically displaced during the pivoting process, the gauge of the track installation nevertheless not changing. <IMAGE>
