A device is described for fixing a printing plate (5) on a plate cylinder (1) having a front clamping strip (6) located in the cylinder gap (3) and provided at the beginning of printing. According to the invention, the trailing end of the printing plate (5) is held clamped via spring pins (8) which, spaced apart axially, engage in holes (9) at the trailing end of the printing plate (5). As a result, the printing plate (5) is held with comparatively little force on the circumference of the plate cylinder (1) so that any inaccuracies can easily be corrected, specifically both curving of the cylinder plate and misregister. For this purpose, the front clamping strip is correspondingly adjustable. <IMAGE>

Beschrieben wird eine Vorrichtung zum Aufspannen einer Druckplatte (5) auf einen Plattenzylinder (1) mit einer in der Zylindergrube (3) befindlichen, am Druckanfang vorgesehenen vorderen Spannleiste (6). Erfindungsgemäß wird das hintere Ende der Druckplatte (5) über Federstifte (8) gespannt gehalten, die axial voneinander beabstandet in Löcher (9) am hinteren Ende der Druckplatte (5) eingreifen. Dadurch wird die Druckplatte (5) mit verhältnismäßig geringer Kraft am Umfang des Plattenzylinders (1) gehalten, so daß eventuelle Ungenauigkeiten leicht korrigiert werden können, und zwar sowohl Wölbungen der Zylinderplatte wie auch ein Vielregister. Hierzu ist die vordere Spannleiste entsprechend verstellbar. <IMAGE>
