[origin: EP0558000A1] Plastering and protecting strip (18) for window frames (8), door frames or the like at the junction with plaster (46, 48), having the following features: (a) the strip (18) has a base region (20) which is provided on its rear side with an adhesive band (16) for fastening the strip (18) on the window frame (8), door frame or the like; (b) the strip (18) has, projecting away from the front side (52) of the base region (20), a first web (21) and a second web (22) which extend at intervals along the strip (18); and (c) the invention provides a strip-shaped protective tongue (24) which is attached, via a break-off material bridge (44) of low thickness, to the base region (20) of the strip (18), the first web (21) being the web nearer the protective tongue (24), characterised in that (d) in the end region (60), of the first web (21), more remote from the base region (20) of the strip (18), the outer surface (62, 66), directed away from the second web (22), of said first web (21) is located at a reduced distance from the second web (22). <IMAGE>
