Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a floating pontoon made from composite material and, more particularly, to an overspill pontoon which has to resist significant compressive loads. This pontoon comprises a parallelepipedal monobloc hull (2) and a deck (3). An internal reinforcing structure consists of a plurality of transverse elements (4) the profile of which has the general shape of an inverted U. They connect the lateral walls of the hull (2), fixed to the latter and to the bottom. In addition their top forms a support for the deck (3). <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un ponton flottant en matériau composite et plus particulièrement un ponton de débordement devant résister à d'importants efforts de compression. Ce ponton comprend une coque monobloc parallélépipédique (2) et un pont (3). Une structure de renfort interne est constituée d'une pluralité d'éléments transversaux (4) dont le profil a la forme générale d'un U inversé. Ils relient les parois latérales de la coque (2), fixés à celles-ci et au fond. De plus, leur sommet forme appui pour le pont (3). <IMAGE>
