[origin: EP0558432A1] The present invention relates to an armoured composite wall, if appropriate provided with one or more fixed through-orifices, characterised in that it mainly consists, on the one hand, of an outer plate (2) having high resistance to the conventional oxyacetylene torch and, if need be, also a high resistance to cutting and drilling tools, and, on the other hand, of a combustible intermediate plate (3) with high smoke release and high flame generation or resistant to a filler-powder torch, and, finally, of an inner plate made of an easily machinable material (4) having high resistance to the conventional torch and comprising attached inserts (5) possessing high resistance to cutting and drilling tools, the said plates (2, 3 and 4) being assembled together by means of connecting elements (6) arranged level with their lateral edges. <IMAGE>
