[origin: WO9209808A1] The invention concerns a device for concentrating jets of gas intended for use in metallurgical or chemical processes. The device has an input nozzle centrally mounted in a jet head so that it points towards a mixing chamber with which a diffuser is coaxially connected. In order to avoid the usual disadvantages of such devices and make a device available which is simple in design, as compact as possible and reliable in operation, at the same time having a higher efficiency or operating at a higher pressure compared with devices of a similar size, the invention proposes that the input nozzle (10) be a ring-jet nozzle with a centrepiece (12) which tapers conically towards the mixing chamber (31) of the output nozzle (30).
