Abstract (en)
An acrylic glass sheet which is suitable as a noise-screen element is protected against the occurrence and falling down of loose fragments by embedded spirals made of steel wire. The diameter of the spirals is smaller than the thickness of the sheet. The axes of the spirals are arranged parallel to the surface. The interiors of the spirals are, in at least a part of their corss-section, hollow or filled with a deformable medium. <IMAGE>

Eine als Lärmschutzelement geeignete Platte aus Acrylglas wird durch eingebettete Spiralen aus Stahldraht gegen das Entstehen und Herabfallen von losen Bruchstücken gesichert. Der Durchmesser der Spiralen ist kleiner als die Dicke der Platte. Die Achsen der Spiralen sind parallel zur Oberfläche angeordnet. Die Innenräume der Spiralen sind wenigstens zu einem Teil ihres Querschnittes hohl oder mit einem verformbaren Medium gefüllt. <IMAGE>
