Abstract (en)
The invention relates to radiological image intensifier tubes of the type including a microchannel plate (44). The image intensifier tube of the invention includes a photocathode (43) formed directly on the entrance face (FE) of the plate (44). This eliminates, among other things, the problems which, in the prior art, are related to the relative positioning between the photocathode (43) and the microchannel plate (44). <IMAGE>
