The machining device (17) for a woodworking machine includes a tool carrying spindle (14) mounted so that it can rotate, on which are engaged a tool (11) having a machining surface which is axisymmetric about the axis of the spindle (14), this surface being intended to machine one of the faces of an elongate piece of wood (15), and a second tool (12) in contact with the first tool (11) and having an axisymmetric surface which is shaped to machine a face perpendicular to the aforementioned face and at the same time as the latter. Used in particular for a machine for machining the four faces of one and the same piece of wood. <IMAGE>

Le dispositif d'usinage (17) pour machine à travailler le bois comporte une broche porte-outil (14), montée en rotation, sur laquelle sont engagés un outil (11) présentant une surface d'usinage de révolution autour de l'axe de la broche (14), cette surface étant destinée à usiner l'une des faces d'un morceau de bois (15) allongé, et un second outil (12) en contact avec le premier outil (11) et présentant une surface de révolution conformée pour usiner une face perpendiculaire à la face précitée et en même temps que celle-ci. Utilisation notamment pour machine à usiner les quatre faces d'une même pièce de bois. <IMAGE>
