In hot-air fireplaces, the combustion space (3) is closed off with a height-adjustable plate (17). The supply of combustion air takes place exclusively through openings, which are assigned a controllable throttling arrangement. In order to prevent the uncontrolled inflow of external air into the combustion chamber (3), the vertically movable plate frame (4) is pressed tightly by pressing members against a stationary frame part (14). To this end, the plate frame (4) is mounted movably transversely to its wide side. As a result, it is possible to prevent the penetration of external air into the combustion chamber and to carry out an accurate proportioning in terms of time and quantity of the air supplied to the combustion chamber (3), with regard to a high degree of efficiency and waste gases which are as low as possible in harmful substances. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei Warmluft-Cheminées wird der Brennraum (3) mit einer höhenverstellbaren Scheibe (17) abgeschlossen. Die Zufuhr von Verbrennungsluft erfolgt ausschliesslich durch Oeffnungen, denen eine steuerbare Drosseleinrichtung zugeordnet ist. Um den unkontrollierten Zufluss von Fremdluft in die Brennkammer (3) zu verhindern wird der höhenbewegliche Scheibenrahmen (4) durch Anpressorgane dicht gegen einen stationären Rahmenteil (14) angepresst. Zu diesem Zweck ist der Scheibenrahmen (4) quer zu seiner Breitseite beweglich gelagert. Dadurch gelingt es, das Eindringen von Fremdluft in die Brennkammer zu verhindern und eine genaue zeitliche und mengenmässige Dosierung der der Brennkammer (3) zugeführten Luft vorzunehmen, im Hinblick auf einen hohen Wirkungsgrad und möglichst schadstoffarme Abgase. <IMAGE>
