The clear water passes through the washing stages counter to the transporting direction of the dishes. The waste water of the pre-rinsing stage can be recycled in this stage after mechanical filtration. If it is also treated chemically, it can be reused in the clear rinsing stage. The separated substances occurring during filtration are collected with exclusion of air and disposed of at brief intervals.
