[origin: JPH0639951A] PURPOSE: To execute the removal of a strip section or a label with reliability by arranging a knife at a second drum rotating in parallel to an application drum and further providing the gripper interacting with the knife arranged on the application drum. CONSTITUTION: A fixed cam 2 is arranged to an application drum 1 and a roller 3 runs on the cam 2 and this roller 3 is equipped with the lever 4 revolving around a pivot point 5. A gripper 6 is connected to the lever 4 to be opened and closed by the revolving action of the lever 4. A piston/cylinder unit 7 is arranged on the downstream side of the gripper 6 and an insertion knife 8 is fixed to the piston of this unit 7. A second drum 9 is arranged under the application drum 1 and a piston/cylinder unit 10 having the same characteristics is also arranged to the second drum 9.
