A compound profile member (1) consists of two metal profile parts (2, 3) and two plastic insulating webs (4, 5) which interconnect these parts and which are held in grooves (7) of the metal profile parts. The inner sides of the metal profile parts (2, 3) and the plastic insulating webs (4, 5) delimit a chamber (9) which runs continuously in the longitudinal direction of the compound profile member (1) and which is filled with a heat-insulating material. A bulk material in the form of spherical grains (11) made of mineral or plastic materials is used as heat-insulating material. <IMAGE>

Ein Verbundprofil (1) besteht aus zwei Metallprofilteilen (2,3) und zwei diese Teile miteinander verbindenden Kunststoffisolierstegen (4,5), die in Nuten (7) der Metallprofilteile gehalten sind. Die Innenseiten der Metallprofilteile (2,3) und der Kunststoffisolierstege (4,5) begrenzen eine in Längsrichtung des Verbundprofils (1) durchgehend verlaufende Kammer (9), die mit einem wärmedämmenden Material gefüllt ist. Als wärmedämmendes Material wird ein Schüttgut in Form kugeliger Körner (11) aus Mineral- oder Kunststoffen verwendet. <IMAGE>
