A wall element for forming a convertible partition wall, comprising a plurality of wall elements, is composed of a wall body (1) which has, on two opposite edges, a border profile which is composed of a tube (4), part of which is covered by a touch-and-close strip (5). The tube (4) is preferably received in a hollow channel (2) of the wall body (1) and is braced with respect to the wall body (1) by two retaining elements (11) provided at the end sides. <IMAGE>

Ein Wandelement zur Bildung einer aus mehreren Wandelementen bestehenden umsetzbaren Trennwand besteht aus einem Wandkörper (1), welcher an zwei gegenüberliegenden Kanten ein Randprofil aufweist, welches aus einem teilweise mit Klettband (5) beschichteten Rohr (4) besteht. Das Rohr (4) ist bevorzugt in einer Hohlkehle (2) des Wandkörpers (1) aufgenommen und mit zwei endseitig vorgesehenen Halteelementen (11) mit dem Wandkörper (1) verspannt. <IMAGE>
