In order to promote relaxation of the pelvic muscles, a relaxation device for preparing for childbirth has two balloon-shaped or annular bodies (1, 2) which are of essentially identical design and are arranged and connected to one another in such a way that they are separated from one another in their upper region by a downwardly narrowing gap (5) when they rest on a ground surface, and that at the top they form a seating surface for a woman sitting down on both bodies (1, 2). <IMAGE>

Ein Entspannungsgerät zur Geburtsvorbereitung weist zur Förderung der Entspannung der Beckenbodenmuskulatur zwei im wesentlichen gleich gestaltete ballon- oder ringförmige Körper (1, 2) auf, die so angeordnet und miteinander verbunden sind, daß sie bei Auflage auf einer Bodenfläche in ihrem oberen Bereich durch einen sich nach unten verengenden Spalt (5) voneinander getrennt sind und an ihrer Oberseite eine Sitzfläche für eine sich auf beide Körper (1, 2) niederlassende Person bilden. <IMAGE>
