Apparatus for heating a moving web (12-14) by contact over its entire width, with a heat source (2) of general convex shape, characterised in that the convex heat source (2): - comprises two longitudinal sectors, namely a hot sector (3) and a cold sector (4), - is mounted pivotably about its longitudinal axis (5), - has means (7, 9) intended to cause it to rotate about its longitudinal axis (5): . when the movement of the textile web (12-14) stops, in order to substitute the cold sector (4) immediately for the hot sector (3) in contact with the stopped web (13), . and, when the movement of the web resumes, in order once again to substitute the hot sector immediately for the cold sector in contact with the moving web. Dispositif pour chauffer par contact sur toute sa largeur une nappe (12-14) en défilement, avec une source de chaleur (2) de forme générale convexe, caractérisé en ce que la source de chaleur (2) convexe : comprend deux secteurs longitudinaux, respectivement un secteur chaud (3) et un secteur froid (4), est montée pivotante autour de son axe longitudinal (5), présente des moyens (7,9), destinés à la faire tourner autour de son axe longitudinal (5) : lorsque le défilement de la nappe textile (12-14) s'arrête, pour substituer immédiatement le secteur froid (4) au secteur chaud (3) au contact de la nappe arrêtée (13), et lorsque le défilement de la nappe reprend, pour substituer à nouveau immédiatement le secteur chaud au secteur froid au contact de la nappe qui défile. Application envisagée : impression chaîne par transfert. <IMAGE>
