[origin: WO9210257A1] A grab with two identical two-armed levers is hinged at least at two places along their axis of rotation. For each of the levers, its two arms are mutually contiguous exclusively on one side of the central plane of the assembled grab at right angles to the axis of rotation. The hinge parts of the grab are constructed as integral parts of its halves, and it is adapted to hang in a U-shaped loop on an endless cord. The gripping faces of the grap have a friction increasing shape.

Un grappin, pourvu de deux leviers identiques à deux bras, est articulé au moins en deux endroits le long de leur axe de rotation. Les deux bras de chacun des leviers sont réciproquement contigus uniquement sur un côté du plan central du grappin assemblé, perpendiculairement à l'axe de rotation. Les parties d'articulations du grappin sont intégrées à chacune des moitiés, et le grappin est agencé de façon à être suspendu en une boucle en U sur un cordon sans fin. Les faces de serrage du grappin présentent une forme qui tend à augmenter la friction.
