Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0561058A1] The present invention relates to a balcony having a load-bearing structure, the load-bearing members of which, at at least one point, are anchored in a supporting manner on load-bearing members located in the intermediate floor, having a balcony base comprising slabs which rest on parts of the load-bearing structure, and having an underside cladding comprising aluminium profiles. The balcony according to the invention is characterised in that there is provided a peripheral aluminium load-bearing profile (10) which defines the balcony plane and has a plurality of closed rectangular channels (11, 12, 13, 14, 15). The slabs (50) for the balcony base rest on parallel trough base profiles which consist of aluminium, are located one next to the other and are connected to one another. Individual profile pieces, which butt against one another with a mitre joint, of the load-bearing profile (10) can be connected via angled-off corner connection pieces (62) which are received by the rectangular channels (13, 14) of the load-bearing profile (10). The aluminium balcony structure is suitable for absorbing the necessary loads, the structure permitting very rapid mounting on site. <IMAGE>
