[origin: EP0561446A2] Machine dishwashing is carried out using a main wash composition assembled by the user (or by dispensers fitted to the machine) from two or more compositions, so that the composition is better suited to the degree of soling of the wash load. Each composition contains a substantial proportion of salts. This avoids requiring the user to dispense small quantities or to handle small unit doses of "additive". The compositions differ in proportions of enzyme and/or bleach. On some occasions one composition may be used alone.
