A container (1) for retaining a liquid (2) for biological protection against ionising radiations, comprising an enclosure (5) for retaining liquid, substantially parallelepipedal, comprising, on the one hand, four vertical side walls, namely two lengthwise side walls (6, 7), a transverse rear wall (8) and a transverse front wall (9) and, on the other hand, a lower wall (11) and an upper wall (10); the front vertical side wall or the upper wall is provided with two orifices (21, 22) situated in the upper part (14) of the said front wall or on a projection of the upper wall in relation to the container; the container comprises a conduit (23), internal to the said enclosure, connected on one side to one (21) of the said orifices and emerging on the other side in the immediate vicinity of the internal surface (25) of the lower wall (11) of the said enclosure. <IMAGE>

Il s'agit d'un bidon (1) de rétention d'un liquide (2) pour protection biologique contre les rayonnements ionisants, comprenant une enceinte (5) de rétention du liquide, sensiblement parallèlépipédique, comportant d'une part quatre parois latérales verticales, à savoir deux parois latérales longitudinales (6,7), une paroi arrière transversale (8) et une paroi avant transversale (9) et d'autre part une paroi inférieure (11) et une paroi supérieure (10) ; la paroi latérale verticale avant ou la paroi supérieure est munie de deux orifices (21,22) situés en partie supérieure (14) de ladite paroi avant ou sur une saillie de la paroi supérieure par rapport au bidon ; le bidon comporte une conduite (23), interne à ladite enceinte, connectée d'un côté à l'un (21) desdits orifices et débouchant de l'autre côté à proximité immédiate de la surface interne (25) de la paroi inférieure (11) de ladite enceinte. <IMAGE>
