[origin: EP0561694A1] A container (1) for retaining a liquid (2) for biological protection against ionising radiations, comprising an enclosure (5) for retaining liquid, substantially parallelepipedal, comprising, on the one hand, four vertical side walls, namely two lengthwise side walls (6, 7), a transverse rear wall (8) and a transverse front wall (9) and, on the other hand, a lower wall (11) and an upper wall (10); the front vertical side wall or the upper wall is provided with two orifices (21, 22) situated in the upper part (14) of the said front wall or on a projection of the upper wall in relation to the container; the container comprises a conduit (23), internal to the said enclosure, connected on one side to one (21) of the said orifices and emerging on the other side in the immediate vicinity of the internal surface (25) of the lower wall (11) of the said enclosure. <IMAGE>
