[origin: EP0561701A1] Signal lamp for motor vehicle, capable of emitting coloured signalling light radiation, of the type comprising a colourless closure glass (10), a reflection means such as a reflector (20), a filament lamp (30), a means for colouring the light radiation coming from the filament and a means for at least partially masking the said coloration means so as to give the extinguished signal lamp an essentially colourless external appearance, the said coloration means consisting of a coloured bulb (31) of the lamp (30) and the said masking means consisting of an opaque mask (41, 42) of neutral or alternatively reflecting appearance, covering a front region of the coloured bulb (31) of the lamp (30). Application to producing a signal lamp for a motor vehicle, with a colourless appearance when it is extinguished. <IMAGE>
