Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0562319A2] In an apparatus (1) for the controlled transfer of transport containers (35) from a loading station (11) to an unloading station (21) by a means of transport (31), the latter is formed by a continuously drivable transport disc and by a fixed braking ring (33), arranged concentrically to the latter, to which transport disc and to which braking ring the transport containers (35) can be alternately coupled. Moreover, the transport containers (35) are each mounted on a supporting arm (34, 34', 34''), these being rotatably mounted concentrically to the driven transport disc (32). <??>This design makes it possible extremely accurately to couple the transport containers (35) to the means of transport (31) and to release them from the latter, thereby ensuring careful transport. Also, during operation, the transport containers (35) do not butt against one another and also do not move up against a stop in a non-braked manner, thus guaranteeing a careful treatment of the goods conveyed. <IMAGE>
